Peshawar: Decision has been taken to install pink button for prevention of incidents related to harassment of women.According to central police office Police has decided to install pink button throughout KP province for stopping women harassment related incident.Under this decision 68 pink buttons will be installed in Peshawar in first phase. Pink buttons will be installed in the areas of excessive movement of women.CPO said women will be able to inform police about their complaints timely by pressing pink button. Pink button will remain connected with police control room. Video and voice of complainant will be received in control room by pressing this button.According to central police office other citizens in addition to women will be too authorized to avail of this facility. Pink button will help in giving timely response in connection with street crimes.
