ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shebaz Sharif has said youths are future of the nation and guarantor of prosperity.

" I am desirous of giving lap tops instead of Kalashnikov to every youth of the nation. Billion of rupees have been allocated in the next budget for providing lap tops to youths and agriculture loans", he said this while addressing a ceremony in connection with the distribution of laptops amongst the students of various Universities in Islamabad

"When I was khadim of Punjab then I distributed laptops among million of students besides giving educational scholarships on merit, he added.

Nothing is more precious for nation than making investment on youths.

One lakh more lap tops will be distributed among poor children on the basis of merit, he announced.

Rs 5 billion have been allocated in the budget for distribution of lap tops among youths, he pointed out.

Loan will be provided to youths from rural area for agriculture purpose, he said adding Rs 5 billion have been earmarked in the budget for this purpose.
