Lahore: Drone technology is being used to trace and identify people marooned in flood affected areas during Rescue operation in Punjab.

The Thermal imaging drone technology is being used in remote and impassable areas of Punjab to identify flood affectees.

The people and live stock marooned in flood water in Semi Pull Jhang and Sargodha road have been identified and traced by using drones.

Thermal imaging camera identified 5 persons and live stock beleaguered in flood water and the Rescue team traced the location and pulled the affected persons and live stock out of flood water and shifted them to safe places.

The flood affectees are being traced with the help of drone cameras in flood hit areas in river belt of Chistian as well.
