Islamabad: Election Commission (EC) has rejected the petition seeking re-poling in PB-45 Quetta of Balochistan Assembly.

EC directed the respondents to resort to Election Tribunal (ET).

EC announced reserved judgment about PB-45 Thursday and rejected JUI-F candidate Muhammad Usman Pir Kani plea.

It is pertinent to mention here PPP candidate Ali Madad Jattak was declared successful on this seat.

Nasrullah and Mir Muhammad Usman JUI-F candidate had filed petition against success of Ali Madad Jattak.

The EC while rejecting both of the petitions has directed the two petitioners to resort to ET.

EC has said in its brief decision that the respective forum be approached in regard to irregularities in connection with compilation of result of election. Election tribunals are there for election petitions.
