Lahore: Election Tribunal (ET) of Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the petition filed against acceptance of nomination papers of Rana Sana Ullah for Senate election declaring it non maintainable.

ET comprising Justice Khalid Ishaq maintained the petitioner is neither voter nor is he member of parliament. Therefore, he can not become aggrieved party. How can this petition be filed if he is not aggrieved party.

The court imposed fine of Rs 5 lac on petitioner for wasting time of court and rejected the petition declaring it non maintainable.
