Lahore: With a commitment to make Lahore clean, a grand operation against encroachments is underway across the city on the directives of DC Lahore, Syed Musa Raza. Assistant Commissioner Model Town, Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf, conducted a surprise operation in Township, confiscating 18 carts, while 90% of shopkeepers removed encroachments voluntarily. Instructions were issued to allocate parking space for rickshaws obstructing traffic flow. Assistant Commissioner Ravi, Tariq Shabbir, seized one truckload of goods in Sabzi Mandi and Jameel Park, Shad Bagh. Assistant Commissioner Cantt, Fatima Arshad, inspected pushcarts and encroachments in Dharampura Bazaar, Allama Iqbal Road, and Infantry Road and considered solutions for the problems of the traders' union.

Assistant Commissioner Shalimar, Dr. Anum Fatima, conducted operations in Daroghawala, Allama Iqbal Road, Garhi Shahu Bazaar, Canal Road Link Road Lal Pul, Major Jameel Shaheed Road, Madhu Lal Hussain Bazaar, GT Road, and Egerton Road, sealing 31 shops and confiscating two truckloads of goods. Notices were issued to challan illegally parked vehicles and to school administrations to make arrangements for traffic.

Assistant Commissioner Nishtar, Muhammad Saleem Assi, visited Ferozepur Road and sealed 10 shops. Assistant Commissioner Wahga, Muhammad Amir Butt, conducted operations on Sharf Pura Road, GT Road, Gunja Sindhu Chowk, Skyland Road, and Ghurki Hospital Road, sealing 28 shops and registering two FIRs. Assistant Commissioner Allama Iqbal Town, Khawaja Muhammad Umair Mahmood, visited Thokar Niaz Baig Flyover and cleared Thokar Niaz Baig of encroachments.

Assistant Commissioner Saddar, Abdul Basit Siddiqui, conducted an operation against encroachments in Hair, and Assistant Commissioner Raiwind, Zainab Tahir, conducted an operation in Manga Mandi. The DC Lahore stated that indiscriminate action will be taken against encroachments and providing a clean environment to citizens is the top priority.
