Gymkhana Dominate in Nighat Umar T-20 Tournament

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Club and Alamgir Gymkhana have stormed into the semi-finals of the inaugural Nighat Umar T-20 Cricket Tournament, organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi Zone Vl, with commanding victories.In the first match at Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana Ground, Pakistan Cricket Club posted a formidable 288/3 in their 20 overs, fueled by explosive centuries from openers Khawaja Muhammad Nafay and Jahanzeb Sultan. Sultan smashed 127 runs with 10 fours and 12 sixes, while Nafay remained unbeaten on 113, including 10 fours and 8 sixes. Orangi Star Cricket Club were subsequently bowled out for 151 in 18.3 overs, with Hassan Ali scoring 60. Abdul Moeez took 3/25, leading Pakistan CC's bowling attack.The second match saw Alamgir Gymkhana achieve a record-breaking 315/2, powered by Kashif Ali's blistering 182 runs, featuring 12 fours and 19 sixes. Orangi United Cricket Club were decimated, managing only 50 runs in 11.2 overs. Abdul Hai's 3/6 led a dominant bowling performance, with Hasnain Khan, Tariq Khan, and Ziaullah each taking two wickets. The two victories have set up exciting semi final matches.
