Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expresses deep grief and sorrow over the death of Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti


Lahore: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh.



In his condolence message, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the passing of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh is a moment of great grief not only for Saudi Arabia but for the entire Muslim Ummah. He said that the efforts of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and scholarly insight will always be remembered. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the scholarly insight left behind by him will be the guiding light for the upcoming generations.



Hafiz Naeemur Rehman prayed for higher status in Jannah for the departed soul and also prayed for the acceptance of his religious services.



Meanwhile, the Emir Jamaat-e-Islami has extended heartfelt congratulations to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the government, and the people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day.



He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are great brotherly Islamic countries bound together by long-standing, strong, and trust-based relations. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated that 250 million Pakistanis hold deep love and reverence for the land of the Haramain Sharifain and always pray for Saudi Arabia’s prosperity and stability.



He described Pakistan-Saudi relations as historic, exemplary, and a source of pride for the Muslim Ummah. He said that the defense agreement between the two countries is a landmark step that will not only further strengthen bilateral ties but also play a vital role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
