Hania murder case: Court directs to fix petition against CCD with central case for hearing

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed to fix for hearing with central case the petition filed against CCD in murder case of Hania Ahmad 9 in Chakwal.

The petition seeking transparent investigations into 9 years old Hania Ahmad murder case in Chakwal came up for hearing in LHC.

Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry of LHC took up for hearing miscellaneous petition filed by Judicial Activism Panel .

Counsel Azhar Siddique took the plea father and minor brother were also injured due to firing by CCD personnel. This is not mistake but is grave violation of basic human rights. License to kill cannot be given to law enforcement agencies. CCTV, Wireless and arms record should be kept safe.

Hania Ahmad case is test of Pakistan pledges for human rights. CCD rules , training and monitoring system need to be reformed. Therefore murder case be registered against the responsible persons of tragedy and transparent inquiry under judiciary be conducted into Chakwal tragedy.

Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhary said how the petition is maintainable. This matter falls in Rawalpindi bench.

Azhar Siddique said I have come here for determination of legal position of CCD.

Court said all right we will hear your petition with central application.
