Lahore: Hearing of the case pertaining to implementation of Anti Rape act has been adjourned till next week.

A three members full bench of LHC presided over by Chief Justice (CJ) Aalia Neelum took up the case for hearing Monday.

CJ LHC Aalia Neelum said who has to see the contradiction in federal and provincial anti rape case.

The court questioned from Deputy Attorney General (DAG) where is Attorney General (AG) of Pakistan.

The court directed state counsel to ascertain where is AG.

CJ LHC remarked AG was to appear in this case for assistance. AG was to assist the court in regard to different clauses of anti rape act.

Additional Attorney General (AAG) Mirza Nasar, appeared in the court of chief justice of LHC. AAG reached the court late due to his engagement in division bench.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.

The accused Wajid Ali has resorted to court for his bail.
