Lahore: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the world is changing, Muslim Ummah should have to formulate strategy according to the changing circumstances. He said that it is our collective responsibility to highlight and resolve the problems faced by Muslim Ummah. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that we are ready to open an office in Pakistan for highlighting and resolving the problems faced by Muslim countries.

This was stated by Emir JI Hafiz Naeemur Rehamn while addressing the International Roundtable Conference titled: 'Quest For A Just Global Order' in Lahore. The roundtable conference was attended by observers from over 40 countries.

Hafiz Naemeur Rehman said that the humanity today stands at a decisive crossroads. He said that the ruling systems of the world have failed, international institutions have become ineffective, and oppression has engulfed the earth. He said that the systems of the world have repeatedly failed to address the real needs of humanity. He said that the movement for the Freedom of Kashmir and the right for self-determination for Kashmiris must be taken to the global level, the Plebiscite must take place in Kashmir, as spelled out in the UN resolutions. He said that in Gaza, children, women, and civilians face devastation, while international institutions remain silent, powerful governments indifferent, and international law crippled.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said 'it has been a great learning opportunity during our convention to listen to our distinguished guests from across the world. Yet I hesitate to say 'representing various countries,' because you are not merely national representatives-you are global citizens, representing humanity at large'. Emir JI Pakistan said today, we gather to deliberate on the theme: 'The Quest for a Just Global Order.'

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that humanity today stands at a decisive crossroads. The ruling systems of the world have failed, international institutions have become ineffective, and oppression has engulfed the earth. In such times, the coming together of Islamic movements and humanitarian activists from across the globe is itself a declaration of hope.

He said that the systems of the world have repeatedly failed to address the real needs of humanity. The Industrial Revolution, while transforming production and generating unprecedented wealth, was built on exploitation, harsh labour, and deep social inequality. Its background lies in Europe's rapid scientific progress, colonial expansion, and profit-driven capitalism that prioritized machines and markets over human dignity.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that in response, communism emerged as a reaction to these injustices-promising equality, collective ownership, and worker empowerment-but it too fell short in practice, often replacing economic exploitation with political repression and inefficiency. Ultimately it collapsed under the weight of its own contradictions.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that capitalism, presented as the savior of mankind, but in reality, concentrating wealth in a few hands, turning politics into a playground for the powerful, keeping weaker nations in perpetual subjugation, and reducing human values to mere commodities. The new World Order as it was called by the lone super power a few decades ago, worsen the situation, even the basic human values are put at risk of abolition.

Emir JI said that democracy, once seen as a noble ideal, has been captured by corporate lobbies, serving vested interests rather than the public good. At the global level, the United Nations stands paralysed, while the UN Security Council has become an instrument of power rather than justice. Wars multiply, oppression spreads, and human dignity is trampled daily. Gaza today is the clearest proof of this bankruptcy of the global order.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that in Gaza, children, women, and civilians face devastation, while international institutions remain silent, powerful governments indifferent, and international law crippled. The occupiers are being taken as rulers of Palestine. The Holy Land of Palestinians had been snatched from its inhabitants and a coalition the winners of Word War is responsible for this injustice. A similar coalition is shaping up to repeat the history. But the coalition for humanity will resist it in all possible ways.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said 'yet in this darkness, brave activists-Muslim and non-Muslim alike-who risked their lives to raise the banner of humanity, remind us that conscience is alive. You are not only defenders of Gaza-you are soldiers of humanity. We thank you. We honor you. You represent the conscience of humankind'.

He said that the occupation of Kashmir is no different, but the world seems indifferent to this occupation. One million Indian soldiers violate the basic human rights of the Kashmiris on an almost daily basis, yet there is not enough tears in the world for these Kashmiris under oppression. He said that the movement for the Freedom of Kashmir and the right for self-determination for Kashmiris must be taken to the global level, the Plebiscite must take place in Kashmir, as spelled out in the UN resolutions.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said 'Islam offers a vision for humanity's salvation. It is not bound by race, language, or color. It is a comprehensive system built on justice, compassion, equality, and responsibility. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) established in Medina a state where people of diverse backgrounds-Salman the Persian, Suhaib the Roman, Bilal the African, the Muhajirun and the Ansar-stood together as one. This was a divine design, teaching humanity that Islam unites, it does not divide.

Therefore, our arms remain open. In this global struggle, we walk alongside every person who stands against oppression. You are welcome. You belong here. This movement is for all humanity. The world needs a system which not only addresses the physical requirements of humanity but which also addresses the spiritual and moral needs. Islam offers a balanced combination of the two.

History bears witness: whenever the Ummah united for great purposes, the world changed. And whenever the Ummah lost its vision, not only Muslims but all of humanity suffered. Today, the new generation-Generation Z-emerges as a ray of hope. We have seen them rise against injustice, against racism, environmental destruction, and war. They are our hope, our investment in tomorrow'.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Islam is not merely a faith-it is a moral, social, economic, and civilizational project for all humanity. This requires a global struggle and collective strategy.

To our non-Muslim friends: your presence reminds us that justice has no religious boundaries, truth has no race, and human dignity is universal. We stand together not because we share the same faith, but because we share the same conscience. You are our partners in humanity.

Emir JI Pakistan said that perhaps one proposal worth considering is the establishment of an umbrella office in Pakistan, to serve as a hub for coordination, communication, and collective strategy. Jamaat-e-Islami is ready to facilitate this effort, so that our voices may not remain scattered, but united and effective.

'May Allah bless our intentions with sincerity, our efforts with success, and may He aid the oppressed everywhere, guiding us to be part of the global struggle that leads humanity to justice, peace, and dignity' Hafiz Naeemur Rehman concluded.
