Hearing of Toshakhana-2 case against PTI founder, Bushra Bibi adjourned till Sep 8


Rawalpindi: Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand has adjourned till September 8 hearing of Toshakhana-2 case against PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi after recording statements of two more witnesses.

Former chairman PTI and his wife Bushra Bibi were presented in the court during hearing of the case in Adiala jail.

Suleman Safdar, Arshid Tabrez, Qausain Faisal Mufti. counsels of the accused, Special public prosecutors Zulfiqar Naqvi and Umair Majid Malik from FIA side and Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan sisters of PTI founder were also present in the court.

Statements of principal appraiser customs Sana Saeed and ADCG Headquarters Abdullah Khan were recorded.

This way evidence of 13 witnesses have been recorded so far in this case. Counsels for accused have completed cross questioning of 11 among them.

Talking to media men outside Adiala jail, Aleema Khan said “see the mood and anger of the people. This all is sign of this thing Pakistan is going to what direction.

She said people have stood up against
oppression. Police personnel too are disgusted with this system.

What injustice is being done with PTI founder , this in fact is being done with all Pakistani nation. Pakistani nation had stood up on February 8 for its rights.

One journalist referred to one tweet on this occasion wherein it was alleged Aleema Khan purchased property out of the donated amount.

The journalists sought reply to the question repeatedly but Aleema Khan went away without giving any clarification.
