High-level emergency meeting of Alkhidmat Foundation held under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman

Lahore: An important emergency meeting was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. The meeting strongly condemned the attacks on civilian populations resulting from Indian aggression and reviewed Alkhidmat Foundation's preparedness for possible emergency situations. Central and regional officials of Alkhidmat participated in the meeting.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman stated that Alkhidmat has immediately established a central control room in Lahore, while regional control rooms have also been activated in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, South Punjab, and Central Punjab.

The meeting resulted in several key decisions regarding relief and rescue operations, provision of medical aid, food and medicines, and ensuring the immediate availability of volunteers. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman emphasized that Alkhidmat Foundation is in full coordination with the Government of Pakistan, Pakistan Armed Forces, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and the Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs) to carry out relief activities in a nationally coordinated manner.

He also instructed the Disaster Management Department of Alkhidmat, PIMA (Pakistan Islamic Medical Association), ambulance services, and other related departments to remain on high alert and respond swiftly to the evolving situation. Alkhidmat Foundation assured that it will stand firmly with the affected individuals in every possible way and will utilize all available resources to support them.
