Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned hearing of case against non endorsement of appointment of judges by the President Asif Ali Zardari till filing of law ministry notification in the court.

The petition came up for hearing before Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of IHC.

Zahid Asif Chaudhry counsel for the petitioner , Additional Attorney General (AAG) Rashid Hafiz and others appeared in the court.

AAG said a development has occurred on this matter. President has endorsed the appointment of all judges. President has endorsed the appointment of all high courts judges.

Zahid Asif Chaudhry counsel for the petitioner said this has been done due to the court. This has been done because court has issued order.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked this court is sitting here to give decision as per law and constitution.

AAG said when endorsement comes from the president then law ministry will issue the summary forthwith.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked when notification is issued by law ministry and they bring it here then we will wrap up the case. Tell us when notification comes.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till filing of notification.
