IHC moved for initiating contempt of court proceedings against not arranging meeting of CM KP with PTI founder

Islamabad: Contempt of court plea has been filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) for not arranging meeting of Chief Minister (CM) KP with PTI founder in Adiala jail despite court's orders.

Federation , Adiala jail and Punjab government have been made respondents in the petition.

Interior secretary has also been made respondent in the petition.

Advocate General (AG) KP Shah Faisal filed the petition on behalf of Sohail Afridi.

AG KP got biometric verification before filing the petition.

The court has been requested to initiate contempt of court proceedings against respondents for not arranging meeting of KP Chief Minister with Imran Khan despite court's orders.

The references of division and larger benches of IHC were given in the petition.

The court has been requested to launch contempt of court proceedings against the responsible persons for not arranging meeting.
