ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought from Capital Development Authority (CDA) final date for completing development work in sector C-14 Islamabad.

IHC has sought written reply from CDA board till June 23.

CDA told the court contract has been awarded to NLC for development work in sector C-14 and development work will soon be started. Bid of Rs 1.57 billion has been accepted. Letter regarding the acceptance of its lowest bid has been issued to NLC.

The contempt of court plea filed by the allottees came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Amir Farooq Tuesday.

The allottees had prayed the IHC to issue order for expediting the development work in sector C-14.
