OCAC show concern over fear petroleum crises

ISLAMABAD: Oil Companies Advisory council (OCAC) has expressed the concerns over fear of petroleum product crises in the country on Tuesday.

In view of deteriorating economic situation in the country, international banks refused letter of credit to Pakistani banks.

0.75 tax turnover on petroleum product will make petroleum industry dysfunctional, OCAC wrote in letter to the government.

Petroleum industry has supported government in difficult time even so PDC was implemented.

They further added in the letter that if the issue would not be taken serious, it may lead to petroleum product crises in the country.
