Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar says he was pleased to meet UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy on the sidelines of the 32nd ARF in Kuala Lumpur.
Ishaq Dar said that we reviewed the positive momentum in Pakistan-UK relations and reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening this partnership. Ishaq Dar said we also discussed recent regional and global developments.
Ishaq Dar said 'I appreciated the UK's constructive engagement during India-Pak conflict in April-May 2025'.
Meanwhile Ishaq Dar met with Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia on sidelines of 32nd ARF in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
Both leaders agreed to intensify bilateral engagement particularly in trade and investment, dialogue at all levels and promotes cultural and people-to-people contacts. Ishaq Dar said that the Pakistan side looked forward to the visit of the Cambodian PM to Pakistan, dates for the visit would be worked out through diplomatic channels.
