Jamaat-e-Islami in collaboration with IT & other companies, aims to secure the future of young people: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

Lahore: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has stated that government actions and propaganda by certain elements are causing disappointment among the youth. He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami, in collaboration with IT and other companies, aims to secure the future of young people.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman made these remarks while addressing thousands of students during the entrance test event organized under the Alkhidmat "Bano Qabil" program on Sunday.He clarified that the objective of Jamaat-e-Islami and Alkhidmat under the "Bano Qabil" initiative is not just to offer courses but to bring about an educational revolution that ensures a bright future for every youth in Pakistan.He pointed out that Pakistan is rich in mineral resources but lacks competent leadership, adding if resources are directed toward the people, the country can achieve significant progress within a few years. He highlighted that if opportunities in the IT sector are provided for two to five years and free education is ensured, Pakistan's IT industry could generate up to $25 billion in revenue within five years, compared to the current $8 billion.He criticized the government, stating that it is unwilling to give anything to the people and that a mafia has been ruling the country for the past 77 years. He urged the youth to take a stand for those deprived of education, emphasizing that education is a fundamental right, not charity. He expressed his desire to make students the pride of Pakistan.Furthermore, he condemned the government's move to hand over schools to private NGOs, asserting that it is the government's responsibility to provide free education to every young person. He vowed to establish 50 campuses if necessary and to offer free IT courses to the youth. He encouraged students to become ambassadors of Pakistan through the "Bano Qabil" initiative and called for funding support for the program.The "Bano Qabil" entrance test was held at University Ground, Old Campus, Lahore, with thousands of students participating. Th is test was conducted for admission into 28 free IT courses, through which young individuals will receive training in modern IT skills such as web development, digital marketing, graphic design, and video editing at no cost.The event was attended by Chairman of the Bano Qabil Program Naveed Ali Baig, Secretary of Information Jamaat-e-Islami Qaiser Sharif, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Central Javed Kasuri, Emir Lahore Ziauddin Ansari, Executive Director of Bano Qabil Salman Sheikh, Director Coordination Umair Idrees, President of Alkhidmat Lahore Ahmed Hammad Rasheed, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Khalid Usm and others.Addressing the gathering, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman highlighted the dire state of the country, where education and employment opportunities for the poor have been shut down, and the middle class is struggling for survival. He criticized the government for misusing taxpayers' money on advertisements to create a false impression of development in Punjab, while in reality, ten million chil dren aged 5 to 15 are out of school. He emphasized that the constitution mandates the state to provide free and quality education to every youth in Pakistan.He vowed to raise awareness among people suffering under the class-based education system and launch a movement for quality education. He stated that Jamaat-e-Islami would play its role in ensuring education for the children of laborers and farmers. He criticized private sector educational institutions for charging high fees for quality education while those with lower fees provide substandard education. He stressed that IT education should be made accessible to all, as it can greatly benefit the youth.Encouraging young people to become ambassadors for the Alkhidmat Bano Qabil program, he announced the commencement of the second phase of free IT courses in Lahore, with the goal of training one million children in Punjab in computer skills over the coming years. He underscored that the focus is not only on offering courses but also on securing the futu re of young people in collaboration with companies. He promised that students would not only receive education but also job opportunities through the "Bano Qabil Job" initiative. He further revealed plans to develop portals that would enable international business ventures and pledged to establish a 100% free IT university.He stated that Jamaat-e-Islami advocates for a uniform education system and curriculum. He emphasized that it is the government's responsibility to provide quality and free education to the public, and when the government facilitates the people, it is not a favor but their fundamental right.He highlighted that Jamaat-e-Islami has decided to raise awareness among the public, especially the youth, about their rights, and this struggle is ongoing across the country. Alongside this movement, the party has also resolved to take practical steps for improvement. One such initiative is the Bano Qabil program.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman explained that this program was first launched in Karachi, where more than 50 campuses were established to provide free IT courses to students. Following its success in Karachi, the initiative has now been expanded to all four provinces. With the launch of Bano Qabil in Lahore, an educational revolution has begun in the city, he concluded.
