Lahore: As per an official handout from DIG Operations Lahore, Lahore Police is utilizing all available resources to ensure the safety of citizens in the provincial capital.According to details, Akbari Gate Police raided a warehouse where kites were was manufactured and arrested suspects involved in selling kite-flying materials online. During the operation, more than 100 ready-made kites, 11 chemical-coated string reels, 300 kite papers, and bamboo sticks were recovered. The arrested suspects, Arshad and Umar Nawaz, had set up a secret warehouse where kite-flying materials were produced and sold in Lahore and other districts despite the ban.Manga Mandi Police arrested a notorious drug dealer, Malik Naveed, based on secret information. He was caught with 1,340 grams of hashish.

The suspect has been jailed multiple times for drug trafficking.In Gul Dast Town, during patrolling, police arrested a notorious drug dealer, Asad, red-handed while supplying drugs. Over 1.5 kg of hashish was recovered from him.Nishtar Colony Police arrested 12 suspects involved in various crimes over the past 72 hours. Among the arrested individuals were seven drug dealers, two fugitives, and three one-wheelers. The three one-wheelers, Mubashir, Kashif, and Aslam, were caught performing dangerous stunts on Ferozepur Road in groups.Shahdara Police arrested a suspect, Zeeshan, for assaulting a citizen at gunpoint and filming the incident before sharing it on social media. Fol lowing the viral video, DIG Operations took notice, and SSP Shahdara immediately dispatched a team for his arrest. Zeeshan, also known as Gappo, has a criminal history and has been involved in cases of attempted murder, robbery, and terrorism.
