KSrelief Launches Ramadan Food Basket Project 2026 in Pakistan

Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), has launched the Ramadan Food Basket Project 2026 to provide food assistance to vulnerable communities across 30 districts of Pakistan.

The initiative is being implemented under the Food Security Support Project Pakistan 2026 (Phase-5) and aims to support 192,500 individuals facing food insecurity during the holy month of Ramazan.

Each food basket weighs 97 kilograms and includes wheat flour, cooking oil, sugar, dates, and gram pulse (daal chana), sufficient to meet the nutritional needs of an average household for the entire month.

Distribution is being carried out in coordination with Provincial Disaster Management Authorities, Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority, State Disaster Management Authority, district administrations, and KSrelief's implementing partners, including the Hayat Foundation and the Peace and Development Organization.

KSrelief reaffirmed its commitment to supporting food security and assisting vulnerable communities in Pakistan, particularly during the blessed month of Ramazan.
