Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has abolished the ban on interprovincial movement of broiler chicken.Justice Sajid Mehmood Sethi of LHC heard the case against fixation of chicken price and imposition of heavy fine Friday.Azhar Siddique advocate counsel for the petitioners while giving arguments during the hearing of the case said the court has made it compulsory to make consultation with all respondents for fixing price of chicken. Government is ruining the business by fixing the price on its own illegally.The government official told the court ban has not been imposed on interprovincial movement of chicken.The court remarked if any such ban is proved then you will have to face contempt of court proceedings.During the hearing deputy commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan , commandant Punjab Border military police filed written reply in the court.The court while ending ban on interprovincial movement of chicken remarked there is no room for imposition of such ban in the law.
