Rahim yar khan: A 25-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping in front of a moving train in Rahim Yar Khan, reportedly following domestic disputes that had led to his separation from his wife.

According to police and local sources, the deceased, identified as Zahid Mehr, a resident of Sanjarpur, jumped in front of a Karachi-bound freight train travelling towards Lahore.

Police said a handwritten note recovered from the deceased's pocket stated that he alone was responsible for his death.

Initial information suggests that the deceased had been under severe emotional distress following his separation from his wife due to domestic differences.

After completing legal formalities, police handed over the body to the heirs for burial.

Further investigation is underway.
