Islamabad: Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson has said that diplomacy and negotiations require discretion and confidentiality.

Many media outlets are carrying speculations/ rumours on ongoing conflict in ME/Persian Gulf with fake info about Pakistan.

He said this in a statement issued here Wednesday.

He held calls are coming seeking comment/confirmation on such so-called 'developments'.

I respectfully reiterate my message of yesterday that diplomacy and negotiations require discretion and confidentiality, he added.

The media is therefore urged to refrain from speculation and to await official announcements on any decisions or outcomes.
