Islamabad: Prices of petroleum products are likely to register a minor decrease from September 01.

According to official assessment the price of petrol can be decreased by paisas 61 per liter and price of high speed diesel can be decreased by Rs 3.13 per liter.

Likewise price of kerosine oil can witness decrease by Rs 1.57 per liter and prices of light diesel oil can be reduced by Rs 2.61 per liter.

The reason behind the drop in price of petroleum products is minor reduction in the prices of oil in international market.

The new price of petrol can be fixed Rs 264 per liter, price of high speed diesel Rs 269.86, price of kerosine oil Rs 176.70 and price of light diesel oil can be fixed Rs 159.55 per liter.
