Monem Zafar Khan expresses solidarity with Iran against US, Israeli aggression

Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Monem Zafar Khan, along with Naveed Ali Baig, Deputy Ameer Karachi, also happened to be Director of Foreign Affairs, visited the Iranian Consulate and met Iranian Consul General Akbar Issa Zadeh, here on Thursday.The JI leaders expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his associates, senior leaders, and more than 150 female students, along with other martyrs, and stated that they stand in solidarity with the people of Iran in their grief.Monem Zafar strongly condemned what he described as open aggression and terrorism by the United States and Israel against Iran.He said that the people of Karachi and across Pakistan express full solidarity with the Iranian government and its people.He further stated that imperial powers' conspiracies against the Muslim Ummah and attempts to divide Muslims along sectarian lines would be defeated.He said that in the current situation, the Muslim world must adopt a joint str ategy against enemies of Muslims, including the United States and Israel.He emphasized that the Muslim Ummah urgently needs unity and solidarity. The JI, he added, has always played its role in bringing the Ummah together and will continue to do so in the future.He also reiterated that voices will continue to be raised against the United States and Israel and against those who support them.
