No deficiency of resources in Pakistan; bad governance, corrupt practices defamed homeland alongside nation: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE : Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Liaqat Baloch has stated that acts of character, morals and service make a man immortal. All the nation has to still repay the loan of implementing ‘Enjoin the good and forbid the wrong’ for establishment of an ideal “Islamic Welfare Society.”

Liaqat Baloch expressed these views while addressing youth expo at Faisalabad and a central political consultative meeting at Mansoorah on Thursday. He further noted there was no deficiency of faith, character, competencies, and resources in Pakistan but the bad governance and corrupt practices defamed the homeland as well as nation. He stated Abul A’la al-Maududi put his tremendous efforts for unity of the Ummah and enlightened the society with his good morals regardless of racial and regional prejudices.

Liaqat Baloch stated the combined leadership, organized and honest collectiveness were required to take the country out of present crises and furthered that it was the target of Jamaat-e-Islamic to transform Pakistan into an Islamic and respectable country by bringing the patriots and capable people together.

Liaqat Baloch maintained the country and Ummah was pinning hopes on new generations and continued higher education, character, respect for teachers and love for the country and the nation should be goals of the youth. There was no paucity of the resources in the homeland but the corrupt political system has dented the goals of the establishment of the country, he said and deplored the governments did not prioritize education and educational facilities.
