Islamabad: Minister for Maritime Affairs , Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has said Pakistan has been granted permission to export fish to US for four years.

Junaid Anwar Chaudhry said the permission is international acknowledgment of Pakistan sea food standard. Pakistan fisheries met US standard. Now continuity in export of sea products has become possible.

He further said Pakistan exports will stabilize due to approval of US.

Pakistan exported 2.42 lac tones fish last year and earned 489 million dollars foreign exchange. The fish is likely to be exported worth 600 million dollars in next year.
