PESHAWAR:Petition has been filed in Peshawar High Court (PHC) for recovery of former Chief Minister (CM) Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Khalid Khurshid.

The court has been requested through the petition to issue order to police to recover Khalid Khurshid besides preserving CCTV footage of speaker house.

The petition has been filed by Hanif Ullah son of Khalid Khurshid through advocate Sajjad Mehsood making IG Police KP , Capital city police officer, and other authorities respondents.

The petitioner took the plea his father is former CM GB who has been lifted and taken away by some unknown persons from speaker house.

According to petitioner this incident took place at 2 o clock in the morning while police are avoiding to register FIR of the incident.

It has been prayed in the petition that police be ordered to initiate proceedings as per law on the matter of registration of case and take measures for recovery of Khalid Khurshid so that his whereabouts could be located.

It has been further requested to PHC that order be given to secure and preserve the CCTV cameras footage installed in speaker house.
