ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shebaz Shareef has declared June 19 to be seen as 'Mourning Day' over Greece boat tragedy.

In statement issued by Prime Minister Office (PMO) national flag on mourning day (June 19) will fly half mast.

Special prayers will be offered for those who have died in boat incident in Greece.

According to PMO statement 4-members high level committee has been established to investigate the incident. National Police Bureau Director Ehsan Sadiq was appointed as chairman of the committee. Interior ministry joint secretary for Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisal Naseer, Foreign ministry additional secretary for Africa Javed Ahmed Imrani, and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) ponch region deputy inspector general (DIG) Sardar Zaheer Ahmed were appointed as the member of committee.

Committee will collect all facts of Greece boat incident and submit report to Prime Minister Shebaz Shareef.

Afterward further action will also be taken against those who are responsible.
