Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss the evolving security situation in the Middle East.
During the call, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering solidarity and full support for Saudi Arabia, strongly condemning the recent attack on the Al-Jubail oil facility. He assured that the people and government of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi leadership in challenging times.
The Prime Minister appreciated the Kingdom's restraint and wisdom amid rising tensions and highlighted Pakistan's ongoing diplomatic efforts to promote de-escalation and peace in the region. He also conveyed warm regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Saudi Crown Prince, in turn, appreciated Pakistan's constructive role and efforts aimed at restoring regional peace and stability.
