Lahore: Good news for cricket fans in Lahore! Preparations for the Tri-Series and Champions Trophy are in full swing. In this regard, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Mudassar Nawaz and Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Jafar Hussain. Assistant Commissioner City Babar Ali Rai, managers and security officials of PC and Avari Hotels attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the arrangements for the Tri-Series and Champions Trophy. The Tri-Series will feature teams from Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. During the Tri-Series, the players will stay at PC Hotel and the broadcasters at Avari Hotel. The hotel management was instructed to cooperate with the concerned departments regarding the installation of lights and the movement of players. Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Jafar Hussain emphasized on making foolproof security arrangements. Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Mudassar Nawaz said that security will be the top priority during the Tri-Series and Champions Trophy.
