Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed their heartfelt felicitations to the government and people of Turkiye on the 102nd Republic Day of Turkiye.

In his message, the President said this day marks a defining moment in world history when the resilient Turkish nation, guided by the visionary leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatrk, embarked on a path of reform, progress, and renewal.

He said the courage and determination with which the people of Trkiye shaped their destiny continue to inspire generations around the world. He said Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah praised the heroic leadership of the people of Trkiye in the establishment of the Republic and the revolutionary reforms that made Trkiye an enviable nation in the comity of nations.

Asif Ali Zardari said Trkiye holds a special place in our hearts. He said the deep-rooted bonds between our two nations are anchored in shared history, faith, and mutual respect. He said we have stood together, unshaken and rock solid in every difficult hour.

The President said the institutional relationship with Trkiye in all spheres of life remains strong and vibrant, expressing the confidence that it will develop exponentially as we march forward.

In his message on X handle, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Turkiye's remarkable transformation and economic resurgence over the decades, under the bold and dynamic leadership of President Erdogan has earned global admiration.

He said Pakistan takes great pride in the accomplishments of its Turkish brothers and remain their steadfast partners in this journey of progress.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan and Turkiye are united by bonds of faith, history and fraternity that transcend geography and time.

The Prime Minister said our relationship has entered a new era of strategic partnership under the sagacious guidance of President Erdogan, as we strive together to unlock the vast potential of our time-tested and enduring ties in all areas of shared interest.
