Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the suicide blast by the Indian-backed Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan near the Islamabad District Judicial Complex.
In their separate statements, they expressed their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The President, in his statement, said terrorist elements are enemies of Pakistan's peace and stability. He said it is imperative to completely eliminate the terrorists who are operating in Pakistan with external backing.
The President also paid tribute to the personnel of law enforcement agencies, who sacrificed their lives.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, said terrorist attacks on the unarmed citizens of Pakistan by Indian terrorist proxies are condemnable. He directed for an investigation into the incident and expressed the resolve that all the responsible will be brought to justice.
The Prime Minister said we will not let the blood of innocent Pakistanis go waste. He said such cowardly acts of terrorists cannot shake our resolve against terrorism. He said we will continue the war will continue till complete elimination of the scourge of terrorism and killing of the last terrorist of Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij.
The Prime Minister said time has come that world should condemn such heinous conspiracies of India. He said India's ugly face of destroying peace in the region has been badly exposed to the whole world.
