Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday to review the overall internal security and law and order situation in the country.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on matters related to counterterrorism efforts, public safety, and other key security issues.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on the current law and order situation and the measures being taken by the Ministry of Interior to maintain peace and stability across the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the efforts of the Interior Minister and his team, emphasizing the need for continued coordinated and effective actions to ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to upholding the rule of law, safeguarding public lives and property, and completely eradicating terrorism, stating that these remain among the government's top priorities.
