ISLAMABAD:  Verification process for the resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members of National Assembly (MNAs) will begin on Monday, it emerged.

According to sources, as per the process, thirty PTI MNAs will appear before the Speaker every day to confirm their resignations.

Record will then be submitted to the Speaker’s office. In case if any MNA does not affirm their resignation, the speaker will then discuss the matter with government allies. National Assembly’s Secretariat said in this regard that every member must appear before the NA Speaker to get their resignation accepted.
