Larkana: Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered to remove 4 police officers including SSP from their posts for registering false case against the citizen.
Matter of registration of false case against the citizen came up for hearing in Larkana bench of SHC Thursday.
The court issued orders for removing SSP Larkana Ahmad Faisal Chaudhry , DSP Prosecution Bashir Abroo, SHO Hatri Ghulam Shah police station, Shamshad Abroo and investigation officer of the case
The court ordered to assign the investigation of the case to FIA and complete the investigations within 7 days.
The court directed IG Sindh should remove the respective officers from their posts within seven days and submit the report so that these officers could not influence the FIA investigations.
Case was registered against a citizen Imtiaz Sehto in police station Hatri Ghulam Shah under anti terrorism act-1997. According to police hand grenade was recovered from the citizen Imtiaz Sehto and his intention was to cause harm to Larkana- Khairpur bridge.
The court said the accused was under illegal detention of CIA Police Larkana since August 11, 2025. Police registered false case against him with malafide intent so that the accused could be harassed. It is illogical and unbelievable that one person tries to explode bridge 100 kilometers away from Mehrab Pur.
The court approved bail of the accused in sum of Rs 20000.
