Islamabad: Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has said Saudi Arabia has stood firmly with Pakistan in every trying time whether in times of war or peace.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad's Diplomatic Enclave on Saturday, where he was warmly received by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki.

Bilateral ties, regional situation. security cooperation an d matters of mutual interests were discussed at length during the meeting.

Appreciating sincere, brotherly and effective role of Saudi Arabia during Indo-Pak tension interior minister thanked the Government of Saudi Arabia and Ambassador Al-Malki.

interior minister said the relations between two countries have stood the test of time.

He reiterated government resolve to ensure image of Saudi Arabia and safety of citizens.

He also made it clear that zero tolerance policy has been adopted against mafia involved in begging in Saudi Arabia. Strong crackdown against them is underway.

by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki said on the occasion Pakistan is our brotherly and friendly country, Saudi Arabia attaches much importance to its relations with Pakistan.

The two leaders talked on expanding bilateral ties further and new prospects for mutual cooperation.
