SC rejects bail plea of accused in narcotics case


Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has rejected bail plea of one Farman accused in drug trafficking case.



During the hearing of the case Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi inquired why the challan was filed against the accused late. Was it so much big inquiry that it took such time.



The state counsel took the plea the accused was caught WHILE selling small packets of narcotics.



The counsel for the accused said there is no allegation of smuggling against him.



Justice Shahzad Malik remarked that under Section 9(c), narcotics recovery itself is enough to apply the law,



He further remarked Wakil Sahb bail cannot be granted even how much longer speech you deliver.



The counsel Riasat Ali Azad withdrew the petition of his client.
