Islamabad: The Senate session will be held tomorrow, Monday, at 4pm at the Parliament House. Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will preside over the session. President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the Senate session for August 17 under Article 54(1) of the Constitution.

According to the agenda, important national and international issues will be discussed during the session. The Upper House will also deliberate on important legislation and key national matters. The prevailing situation in the country and other important issues are also expected to come under discussion in the Senate.
