Shahab Hamid appointed as new Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

Islamabad: Shahab Hamid, a bright and competent officer of the Information Group from the 32nd Common, has been appointed as the new Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

According to the notification issued by the Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division states: Mr Shahab Hamid, a BS-19 Officer of Information Group, presently posted as Director (Press), Information and Broadcasting Division, is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Information and Broadcasting Division, under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, with immediate effect and until further orders.

This Division's notification dated, 21,07, 2025, whereby Mr Muhammad Irfan Khan, a BS-20 Officer of Secretariat Group was transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Information and Broadcasting Division, is hereby withdrawn ab-initio. The notification has been by Section Officer (E-1) Irfan Ahmed Memon with the approval of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Pakistan Rubina Akhtar.

The copy of the notification has been sent to all the concerned officials.

It is worth mentioning here that a native of Mardan, Shahab Hamid previously served as Press Attach© at the Pakistan Embassy in Cairo.
