SHC issues notice to FIA on petition from travel agent

Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notice to FIA and others on the petition from travel agent seeking annulment of the case on sending beggars to Saudi Arabia in the guise of Umrah.The petition filed by travel agent from Multan seeking nullification of case for sending beggars to Saudi Arabia in the guise of Umra came up for hearing before a two members bench of SHC presided over by Justice Naimat Ullah Phulpoto.The court inquired it should be told what is allegation against the petitioner.Counsel for petitioner took the plea FIA has registered case against travel agent Muhammad Atta that he sent some people to Saudi Arabia for begging and not for Umrah. Travel agent has been held responsible for getting visa for 5 beggars.The counsel said Muhammad Atta can get book ticket but getting visa for any one is not responsibility of travel agent.Two cases were registered against Muhammad Ata in Multan and in these two cases he was acquitted. The case registered against him in Karachi be declared n ull and void.Later the court issued notice to FIA and others and sought reply.
