Lahore: A nine-member Special Medical Board at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has released a latest video showing the injured university student responding verbally, indicating significant improvement in her health. According to doctors, the student is now out of danger and her recovery is progressing in a positive direction. The board, constituted under the supervision of Chairman Professor Jodat Saleem, confirmed that the patient's condition has stabilized and she has been successfully taken off the ventilator. The released video reflects her improving physical condition and responsiveness.

Principal Professor Farooq Afzal stated that the high-level medical board comprises senior specialists from various disciplines, including Head of Psychiatry Dr. Faiza Athar and clinical psychologist Ms. Aalia Sadaf. He added that the board is closely monitoring not only the patient's physical recovery but also her psychological and mental rehabilitation. A dedicated team of mental health professionals has conducted detailed counseling sessions with the patient. This counseling process will continue to help her overcome trauma and facilitate a smooth return to normal life.

Prof. Farooq Afzal further assured that the hospital administration is providing state-of-the-art medical facilities without compromise. He said that along with medical treatment, the student patient's mental well-being and complete rehabilitation remain the hospital's top priority to ensure her full recovery and early resumption of daily activities.
