Islamabad: Miscellaneous petitions have been filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) for early hearing of pleas of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha seeking suspension of their sentence in Controversial Tweet case. The petitions have been filed by Faisal Siddiqui advocate and Zainab Janjua advocate. The petitions said both of the petitions were fixed for hearing on July 24 .
It has been said in the miscellaneous petitions the prosecution had raised objection over maintainability of the petitions. However court has rejected the plea related to these objections. The petitioners have requested the court the petition regarding suspension of sentence be fixed for early hearing in the week starting from July 27.
