Karachi: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has extended for 3 days physical remand of Farhan Ghani, chairman Chanesar town brother of Sindh local bodies minister Saeed Ghani in case of violence against government employee.

PPP leader Farhan Ghani and other accused were brought to ATC.

The police presented the accused again in the court on expiry of 4 days physical remand.

During previous hearing the court had directed to provide progress report in connection with investigation.

Waqar Abbasi advocate filed power of attorney from the side of the accused.

Prosecution sought remand of the accused for further two days.

The court inquired from the accused ” are your lawyers present.

The accused Farhan Ghani replied his lawyers are present.

The court expressed resentment over the investigation officer and inquired tell what progress you have made. What will you do in three days. You have done nothing so far. Where are spy dogs. Are they there or have died. Are they spy dogs or some thing else. Do they know how to seize charas. Where are CIA, SIU.

The court remarked you people only know how to harass common man. Will you become DSP after this case.

During the hearing mention was made about Ajrak number plate.

The court remarked one judge has also given application for number plate. People have given application and money as well but they are facing degradation .

The investigation officer said the plaintiff has not presented witnesses.

Judge reprimanded investigation officer remarking if plaintiff is not presenting witnesses then are you his servant.

The court handed over the accused to police on physical remand till August 30.

The court directed that progress report be presented before it on next hearing at every cost.
