Islamabad: During the hearing of Aafia Siddiqui return to Pakistan case ,Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice on miscellaneous petition of government besides seeking reply.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan while moving to Additional Attorney General (AAG) remarked " you say there is no agreement of swapping prisoners with US. Yesterday you caught a man and handed him over to US without any agreement. You were given chance of in-camera information about handing over Dr Shakeel Afridi to US. 2 declarations came. Government was asked for reply. Unsatisfactory reply was given by government. Now government is asking for wrapping up Dr Aafia Siddiqui petition.
The petition regarding recovery of Aafia Siddiqui and her return to Pakistan came up for hearing before Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan of IHC Friday.
Miscellaneous petition was filed by government seeking immediate disposal of the petition regarding release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui .
The court while issuing notice on government miscellaneous petition sought reply.
During hearing of case mention was made about handing over Daesh Commander Shareef Ullah to US who was arrested by Pakistan .

The court remarked you are saying in simple words you want to get rid of this case. Prime Minister (PM) was to write letter. He wrote. What were you to do you did. Due to adoption of this attitude the whole world will come to know that government of Pakistan did what.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan remarked Attorney General Office was asked on previous hearing to give proposals to government and inform the court thereof as well. But you are saying case be wrapped up.
The petitioner Imran Shafiq advocate and additional attorney general Munawar Iqbal Dugal appeared in the court.
Dr Fouzia Siddiqui and US lawyer Smith appeared through video link.
The court while issuing notice on miscellaneous petition adjourned hearing of the case till next Friday.
