Debate contest held in colleges against corruption

QUETTA: Education Department Colleges organized divisional level Declamation (Urdu and English), Essay Writing (Urdu and English), Calligraphy and Poster making competitions in collaboration with NAB (B) among the students of colleges of District Quetta, District Pishin and District Chaman. NAB organizes such competitions every year among the students of universities, colleges and schools. The main purpose of these competitions is to raise awareness among students against corruption. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan of Mercy Corps Balochistan was the chief guest of the program while the guests of honor were Director NAB Balochistan Mr. Haroon Rasheed and Director Higher and Technical Education Colleges Professor Dr. Kaleemullah. Apart from them, a large number of teachers and students from other educational institutions were present. The students expressed in their own way about the negative impact of corruption. During the program, the Chief Guest, Director NAB Mr. Haroon Rasheed and other guests expressed their views against corruption. In their speeches, they said that the role of educational institutions is very important for the elimination of corruption and if teachers and students make it a slogan to perform their duties honestly, then this can also become an important stimulus in the prevention of corruption. He also appreciated the efforts of the students participating in the competitions. . At the end of the program prizes were distributed among the successful students.
