Islamabad: The federal government has formed a committee, headed by Rana Sanaullah, to hold negotiations with Jamaat-e-Islami regarding the demands of the Haq Do Balochistan Long March.

According to a notification issued by the Prime Minister's Office, the Prime Minister's Advisor Rana Sanaullah will serve as the convener of the committee.

The committee members include Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad. The Federal Secretary for Interior will serve as the committee's secretary.

The committee's mandate is to establish contact with the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami, rebuild trust, and take mutually agreeable steps. The Ministry of Interior is obligated to fully support the committee. The committee will complete its task promptly and submit a report to the Prime Minister.

It is worth noting that the Haq Do Balochistan Long March organized by Jamaat-e-Islami has now reached Lahore and is expected to proceed to Islamabad. The committee will negotiate with the delegation of the march, while it will be led by Maulana Hidayatur Rehman, the leader of the movement. Initially, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was to head the committee, but due to his absence from the country, he will not be part of it.
