Islamabad: In chamber appeal plea against appointment of Justice Amin ud Din Khan in Supreme Court (SC) has been fixed for hearing.

Justice Jamal Mandokhail will hear appeal plea in chamber on January 6.

Former Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) late Waqar Saith had challenged out of turn appointment.

Appointment of former judges Mazahir Naqvi and Qazi Amin was also challenged.

Registrar office had returned the petition by raising objections on it in 2020.
