Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has approved physical remand for further 7 days in respect of accused Saad Abbasi arrested in murder case of Group Capt Shaheed Asim Tariq .
The court has ordered to present him again before it on August 03.
Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain of AT while announcing reserved judgment handed over the accused to police for further seven days. Earlier prosecution had requested the court for 15 days physical remand of the accused.
During the hearing of the case the arrested accused Saad Abbasi was presented in the court on completion of his previous physical remand.
Prosecutor Raja Navid Hussain Kiyani told the court the pistol used in murder has been recovered which was hidden by the accused after the offence .
According to prosecutor now mobile phone has to be recovered from the accused and further investigation has to be made, therefore, more physical remand is needed.
The court reserved the judgment on completion of the arguments. The court while announcing the decision approved physical remand of the accused for further seven days.
